Contact your State Legislator - Make Education Their Priority!

State Legislators have to figure out how to cut more money from our State’s budget.  What does this mean to our school? This means fewer teachers, fewer books, fewer computer programs, fewer opportunities for music and PE, more kids in each class, and more pressure on families to fill the gap with PTO/PTA and ASB fundraisers!  What can you do to help kids at our school? Share your stories and contact your elected officials.  Remember that these people represent you and your interests!  They must hear from you in order to make an informed decision.  If they hear nothing, then when considering cuts, education will take a bigger hit. Our legislators heard more from concerned citizens about the regulations to change the sizing of chicken coops than they did about the cuts to education.  Don’t let our kids and our State’s future be overshadowed by lobbyists and corporate interests.  Use your power as a constituent.  Do it NOW!
